Tap the + button to create a new prompt. Type your text and wrap variable parts in double braces like {{style}} to create tappable slots. Add options to each slot so you can quickly swap between choices.
With a Plus or Pro subscription, you can generate images directly from your prompts. Tap the generate button in the editor, choose a model, and TapPrompt will send your prompt to the AI and display the result. Each generation uses credits from your monthly allowance.
Credits control your AI usage. Each AI operation (image generation, image extraction, prompt optimization) costs 1 or more credits depending on the model. Plus includes 100 image generation + 100 extraction credits per month. Pro includes 1,000 each. Credits reset monthly.
Yes. TapPrompt supports "Bring Your Own API Key" for OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google AI, x.ai, fal.ai, and local servers (Ollama, ComfyUI). When using your own keys, requests go directly from your device to the provider — usage is unlimited and doesn't consume credits.
TapPrompt uses iCloud to sync your prompts, templates, and settings across all your Apple devices. Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account and that iCloud is enabled for TapPrompt in Settings > Apple ID > iCloud.
Go to Library, tap the share/export button, and choose "Export All." Your prompts will be saved as a .tapprompt file that you can share or import on another device.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, find TapPrompt, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Open TapPrompt, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will restore any active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
