Which AI models can I use for image generation?

Do I need a subscription to use TapPrompt?
No. The free version includes the full editor, unlimited prompts, iCloud sync, and import/export. The Plus subscription ($2.99/mo) unlocks AI features — prompt optimization, image generation, and image-to-text extraction.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits control your AI usage. Each AI operation costs 1 or more credits depending on the model — affordable models start at just 1 credit. Plus includes 100 image generation + 100 image extraction credits per month; Pro includes 1,000 each. BYO API usage is always unlimited.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your prompts are stored locally on your device or in your iCloud (Apple end-to-end encrypted). We never access your prompt data. When using AI features, prompts are sent to the selected provider for processing only — nothing is stored on our servers afterward.
