By downloading, installing, or using TapPrompt ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and TapPrompt ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
TapPrompt is an iOS application that provides:
The app's core features (editor, templates, library, iCloud sync, import/export) are available for free. AI-powered features require an active subscription or your own API keys.
TapPrompt offers the following subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All payments are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
We may offer free trial periods for subscription plans. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the listed price.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to subscription features until then. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
AI features use a credit-based system. Credits are allocated monthly based on your subscription tier and reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month. Credit costs vary by AI model and feature.
You retain full ownership of all content you create in TapPrompt, including prompts, templates, tags, and any images generated using the app. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Images generated through AI features are subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider. Ownership and usage rights for AI-generated images may vary by provider and jurisdiction. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the terms of the AI provider whose models you use.
You are solely responsible for the content you create, generate, and share using TapPrompt. You agree not to use the app to create content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
When you use TapPrompt's built-in AI features, your prompts and/or images are transmitted through our servers to third-party AI providers for processing. We act as an intermediary and do not store your content beyond the duration of each request. The specific AI provider used depends on the model you select.
When using your own API keys, requests are sent directly from your device to the selected provider. We are not responsible for any charges incurred on your API accounts, data handling by these providers, or service availability. You are responsible for managing your own API usage and costs.
Your use of AI features — whether through built-in AI or BYO API keys — is also subject to the terms of service of the respective AI providers. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or service quality of third-party providers.
AI features depend on third-party services and may be temporarily unavailable due to provider outages, maintenance, or changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any AI feature. We reserve the right to add, remove, or change available AI models and providers at any time.

The TapPrompt app, including its design, code, user interface, icons, and documentation, is the intellectual property of TapPrompt and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app.
The TapPrompt name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of TapPrompt. You may not use these without our prior written permission.
TapPrompt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You should review all AI output before use and not rely on it for critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TapPrompt and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TapPrompt, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to AI features if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide notice within the app. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TapPrompt operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
